1990s

By the 1990s, the adjustments of the research management system and the research groups were nearly ready, and the agenda of re-establishing the Theoretical Laboratory was reconsidered again. As Chinese Academy of Sciences initiated the "Knowledge Innovation Pilot Project", the re-establishment of Theoretical Laboratory became an urgent issue.
