This group mainly works on the computation condensed matter physics. By using the modern large-scale parallel computer, the structure and physical properties of materials are studied. Research interests include first principles calculations, the development of a new calculation method and software package development, functional materials of electric, magnetic, optical properties, singular properties of strongly correlated systems, new quantum phenomena associated with spin-orbit coupling abnormal Hall effect and spin Hall effects, large-scale quantum simulation of the organic materials, nano-systems, superlattice, surface and interface, theory and design of the topological insulator materials, high temperature superconductivity, etc.
